In the heart of Milan, under the portico of an elegant 1930s building, Liviana Conti's FlagShip Store spans two levels with a wide view of the square named Piazza San Babila.
In 1976 Liviana Troffei came out with a knitwear line for children under the name "lamelamatura".
The creative intuition of Liviana, head of the style office, plus the entrepreneurial talent of Roberto Conti, general manager of the company, meant that by 1982 there was the first production of a brand of Total Look women's knitwear which has now become hard fact and an international griffe into the bargain: Liviana Conti.
The new store in Piazza San Babila tells a story gathered in a 1960s domestic environment, with dedicated materials and refined, essential lines of furnishings. The lighting design project is concealed behind an irregular checkerboard of ceiling elements that hide the projectors. It's hidden light. Warm and enveloping light. Never mundane, designed to juxtapose the vertical planes that define the space.
